CIBSE 2025

CIbSE is the leading Software Engineering research forum in Ibero-America. The main objective of this conference is to promote high quality scientific research in Iberoamerican countries and, thus, to support researchers in this community in the publication and discussion of their work. In addition, the conference fosters collaboration and scientific production between academics, students and practitioners.

CIbSE 2025 will be held in Ciudad Real, Spain, for the first time in Europe, and will include invited talks from influential researchers in the Software Engineering community.

CIbSE 2025 will be held alongside three satellite events: the Doctoral Symposium, the 8th edition of the Ibero-American Advanced Software Engineering School (EIbAIS) and Industry Talks. The Doctoral Symposium is organized to discuss the ongoing work of doctoral theses related to the general area of Software Engineering. EIbAIS combines lectures and tutorials on current trends in Software Engineering by renowned speakers. The Industry Talks aim to bring together academics and practitioners from the local community to discuss Software Engineering issues in practice.

CIbSE 2025 also accepts the submission of articles of R&D projects and contracts with companies, where researchers can describe their current lines of research with funding from national and international calls, as well as contracts with companies in which valuable technology transfer actions are carried out in the field of Software Engineering.
